Resolved Question

Web browser

Feb 19, 2012 7:14AM PST

I have a samsung 46 inch TV with internet access (UN46D6000). Is there a web browser I can buy to access the intenet. When I bought this I guess I assumed given that it had internet capability it would come with a browser.

No, you it didn't come with a browser and you can't buy one either. It has some Infernet apps built in or downloadable, and you can upgrade the firmware via Internet. And that's it for "internet capable". Why did you assume otherwise?

No idea why - Oversight I guess because I did go thru the picture quality / optics information mostly. So no one hs figured a way to write an "browser app" for this ? DOesn't the TV automatically update the firmware?

Do you know any other options like Acer Revo etc. that are useful ?

Thanks again

Not one so far can deliver HULU.COM. To get the full PC Browser Experience, you'll want a PC.
