Question

Web application autofilling

Nov 9, 2018 10:58AM PST

Our group accesses a web application twice a week to make online reservations. The app to make reservations opens for the day of the week 6 days hence at precisely 7:00 am for my group and other groups. At 7:00 am, the link for the day of the week 6 days away becomes live, and the available reservation times are shown. The first person to hit the first time gets that time and then other information required is tabbed and populated from drop down menus. Working quickly, one can fill everything in in less than 30 seconds, entered for the reservation time captured by the speed of your original click and internet link. One group has somehow created a type of script that always grabs the first time, populates all of the fields, and completes everything in less than a second. What technology would our group have to avail ourselves of in order to run a script at a precise time to compete with this technologically savvy group?

Will try AUTOIT

Thanks for the reply. I'll check out AUTOIT and see if it can get the job done. I wouldn't mind the site banning users that use bots because then we'd be back to an even footing using manual clicks and entry.
