I am looking for a weather taskbar that will work with 64 bit Vista. Everything seems geered for 32 bit software. Any suggestions?

Will a sidebar gadget do?

Most of the decent weather applications with notification area displays are $20+, but if a sidebar gadget is sufficient there is none better than ProWeather[/u, which is free and as advanced as most desktop weather applications, including WeatherBug.

Hope this helps,

Hi John,
Thanks for the suggestion about ProWeather, but I never got a chance to download it. I had turned my pc off because of the severe weather risk we were having today. Later when I turned it back on, I got a message saying there was a new version of The Weather Channel available to download, so I tried it..and it works! So now I know that the 6.0 version of will work with 64 bit Vista.
Thanks again. Janet
