In addition to the Heartbleed scanner developed by Flippo Valsorda that you already mentioned .....
Digital Trends has a write-up titled, How to check if your favorite websites are vulnerable to the Heartbleed bug. It includes tools which will help assess a site's vulnerability
Malwarebytes did much the same in their posting titled "Users affected the most as Heartbleed takes center stage ".
In short they are ...
• The Qualsys SSL Server Test. A free online service to check a sites vulnerability.
• LastPass Heartbleed Checker. A similar type scanner.
Malwarebytes makes mention of Chromebleed. They describe it as a browser extension for Chrome users .. "that is capable of displaying warnings to users if the site they visited is affected by Heartbleed". Take note where it states, " the majority of the reviewers, however, express their disappointment for the app's intrusiveness". (See the post for additional details)
