Actually, Steve...
Apr 12, 2004 6:38AM PDT

Actually, Steve, al Qaeda was founded in 1988, just before the Russians withdrew from Afganistan.
After the Soviet withdrawal, al Qaeda was quiet for a couple of years. bin Laden returned to Saudi Arabia as a war hero. bin Laden raised money for his cause among his wealthy Saudi peers. When the Gulf War broke out in 1991, bin Laden offered to raise an army of mujahideen in defense of Saudi Arabia, but he was spurned in favor of U.S. assistance. He considered the U.S. presence in the Persian Gulf offensive and beginning around 1992, he led al Qaeda into a new role, with the stated purpose of driving U.S. forces out of the Gulf.
Notice that he's applying the 1992 al Qaeda to the 1988 al Qaeda.

It has become apparent to me how good socialists are at twisting facts and creating mis-information.
I forgot all about those things you pointed out.
Looks as if Ronald Reagan had zilch to do with
Al Qaeda. I would have been very surprised if he did.

Ok a yes or no for you, since you prefer such rigid guidelines

Did you know that we have an airport named

So you are a US citizen?

But I don't insist on a yes or not answer. Yes, no, or I don't wish to say, are all perfectly legimate answers. Or any longer answer you might like to attempt.

NT - Roger, does it matter? How would it change anything apart from the fact that I do/will/would have the right to vote?

In addition to your does it matter, no more or no more than many of your questions asking people all sorts of things without responding to questions they ask.

And change anything? well, guess not, but it is a valid point to me if someone is critizing from outside or within.

And you've implied both yes and no to that question over time, so while we were clarifying, I thought perhaps you'd like to address that issue.

I assumed that you could vote. Didn't you say in a post, "Haven't I gotten the citizenship of the USA and pay taxes just like you?" (Posted on 12/20/2003 6:33 AM)

Haven't you noticed, Roger...

Roger, haven't you noticed that when refering to Sweeden, he says "we"?

Double the trouble double the fun, double the we?
Apr 13, 2004 3:45PM PDT

But he said we have an airport named after the one who sponsored the responsible organization .... It's called Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport!

Bi-citizenship?

Shrug, makes no never mind in general, just thought I'd ask if he'd care to clear up the confusion.

Even gave him a chance to say he'd rather not say, but even avoided that answer. Oh well.

I do resent his implication/insult that the US was responsible for the WTC attack, espcially a President that left office in 1989, or I guess accurately would be January of 1990.

Just give them a dose of that stuff they wanted to use. It's a horrible way to go, you literally drown in your own body fluids. If they think it's good enough for John Q. Public then surely it's good enough for them.
