WB700 firmware update

by sauroman1 / July 10, 2012 5:34 PM PDT

Hello, I bought new Samsung WB700 camera. I like it's quality but problem is that it lacks some functions. So firmware update is required. Here's list of required functions:
1) Timelapse and motion capturing is very interesting and useful. So there should be function that allows to take continuously photos in chosen time intervals(15s, 30s) or trigger shooting on motion detection.
2) RAW format option is required which can provide higher image quality without any post processing. I personally going to use it for wall painting documentation so photo authenticity and quality is top priority.

While we appreciate your curiosity and interest in Samsung products, your feedback is valued. However, I caution against expecting a firmware update to increase functionality. Have a good day!

This is how you care about customers? I'm not asking a lot, just to improve functionality by releasing firmware update for those who are interested in such features. But you just immediately reject my recommendation. What an awful service. I paid a lot of money for toy camera! I'm trying to help improve your product and attract more customers, so rethink your decisions.

Hey sauroman1,

I apologize that you felt ignored. But let me touch on your your request for additional functionality: I didn't say no; I just said to not expect it. I'll definitely pass on your feedback, but you'll have to understand that the feedback that gets the most attention is about functionality that isn't working because those are things that we implicitly said would be working.

I hope that makes sense. Have a good day!
