Way to turn off USB ports in Inspiron 1501?

I would like to have a USB port shut down when the computer is on sleep/standby (WinXP), on an Inspiron 1501.

How can I do this?

Hi psaulm119 ,
In your Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop there is phoenix BIOS ( 5 page BIOS) with options like
1) USB outside port
2) USB BIOS legacy support

There is no option to disable the USB port when it is in sleep/standby mode .
Please reply back if there are any other issues .
