Question

Way of doing business: person-firm

Nov 28, 2014 4:41AM PST

Hi people,

I have some questions about how to get payment for advertising on my website. I run one small portal and I could get soon offers for advertising. Problem is that I don't have a company so what are ways to receive payment? Are there any a contract of employment between the subject and the company that can be used?
What experience do you have with this and how did you resolve it?

Thank you for reading and for your attention.

Here in Europe you just tell the advertiser your IBAN (Internation Bank Account Number) and if he lives in another country the BIC (Bank Idedtification Code) of the bank and he pays the bill on your bank account (hopefully).
And here in Europe there is no contract of employment. But the rules for sales tax apply.

Where do you live? And what did your tax adviser say when you asked?

Hi,

thanks for answering, I am from Croatia and we don't have here tax advisers, you could call it "wild west" Happy. But IBAN we have, I was interested how others manage their requests such as monthly advertising, where the agreement is between me "subject" and "legal persons".
