free space on it, but assuming that is not the problem, try deleting all instances of "Normal.dot" on your hard drive, (Start > Search (for files and folders), Normal.dot).
Normal.dot is the main template for all Word documents, and can get corrupted. If you delete Normal.dot from your computer then re-open Word it will create a fresh version of Normal.dot.
This may not be the solution, but it is a place to start.

Hi
I have inserted a watermark in word 2003 using format-backgrounds-printed watermark-use picture etc
It seem to work for one doc but when I returned to that doc I get the following error
"not enough memory or disk space to display or print the picture.
I should also say that I am assuming it is the watermark as when i printed it a box was printed around the watermark
I have subsequently removed the watermark but am still getting the message and when I print there is still the getting the box.
Has anyone had similar or is there anything I can check.
Regards
