Watching ABC online is pretty awesome

by robstak / October 19, 2006 2:42 AM PDT

(again, i dunno if it works on macs or not, but...)

I am really impressed. The site looks great, the video quality is impressive without any lag, and I find myself watching the comercials (at least the first time) 'cuz I'm curious to see if the internet ads would be different.

Kudos to ABC, and if you haven't tried, I suggest you do. Now if the hospital would just un-block that'd be perfect!... or if there were a mobile accessible version, even better!

PS. these are flash players, no? why wouldnt they work across browsers and platforms? there obviously must be more than flash going on, no?

Tried from Linux. Not in US.

Tried from Linux with Flash 9. Looked like it was going to work until it said that only viewers in US could watch full length episodes.

Oh well there are always the other alternatives. And they come without commercials. Wink

In reply to: yep

and have no tivos or DVR's, like me Happy

Take my experience with Grey's Anatomy for example. I stopped watching it 'cuz I missed the first couple episodes. Now they lost a fan, because it was too late to go back...

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
