That tech support is not a given with any product. It's like most stuff you buy at a Home Depot. Home Depot does not give free tech advice or help you install the things.
This upsets some. So if after hours support is needed be sure you know what the charges are.

I just bought a WatchGuard XTM 21 - W, because I am very concerned about security for a couple of computers. The XTM 21 just arrived last night, and the instructions were difficult to follow. However, "I believe" I have one of the computers accessing the internet through it now. I say "believe" because I've gone into the computer and disconnected all of the wireless connections that are listed in it. I haven't been able to "luck" into accessing the internet through the second computer. I was very unimpressed when I contacted someone with WatchGuard. I was told that, even though, their tech support was still available to people in the Pacific and Mountain Time Zones, since I was in Central, that I would have to pay them a $150 after hours fee if I wanted to talk to someone before next Tuesday. Of course, I told the guy that I wasn't going to pay him $150 to tell me how to turn his machine on, and if I couldn't figure it out pretty soon, his XTM-21 was going back in the box and being shipped back to Amazon, where it came from.
What is your impression of WatchGuard? I've run across a lot of companies that try to shake the change out of your pockets in the computer business, and I don't like it one bit!
