Question

Watch Netflix on tv via Samsung Galaxy tab

Nov 17, 2013 4:08AM PST

Hello, i want to watch Netflix on tv (Samsung led tv) via my tablet (galaxy note). It works perfectly fine at first, i can get full screen in the Netflix menu. But when i play a movie, the screen wont go full anymore, i have big black bars on the sides, while the screen on the tablet itself is full. Does anyone knoe how to fix this?

What's the resolution (x * y) of your TV? And what's the resolution of your tablet?

Then I suppose they aren't the same.

That would explain it. The Neflix app chooses the size suitable for the tablet. And if the TV has a different aspect ratio you see black bars.

If you can't find the specs of your own devices in the user manual or in the specifications on the makers site on in the webshop where you bought it, why should I go and search for you?

Is a ChromeCast. Netflix? It has it and the tablet commands the Chromecast. Very nice.
