Was this a fluke with Zune

Jul 9, 2009 2:34AM PDT

Hi
Bought a Zune yesterday from Wal mart..Never charged up.....got a message after an hour or so that my pc usb port power was exceeded....Well, when i tried to unplug the cable from the zune it actually tried o pull the insides of the Zune out..Is Zune quality bad normally...Trying to decide weather to go with Zune or something else since that Zune made me gun shy on Zune

Wow. That does sound kinda bad. Just to let you know, I've personally had 3 Zunes (upgraded twice mainly for storage space), and I've never had a single issue. In fact, I'll be purchasing my fourth Zune when the Zune HD comes out this fall. I can understand your reservations about Zune after that, but you asked if it was a fluke, and I'm thoroughly confident that it was. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a bad unit

I've had great success with past Zune hardware. OTOH, their software hasn't always been the best.

Just a fluke.

I have owned a total of five Zunes and now use only two for the memory and have never had a problem with them. What happened to you is most likely a fluke as you said. I just hope that this little problem doesn't prevent you from making future purchases of the Zune franchise.
