i tried to download adobe acrobat but my securitysaid it has virus i am using win 8.1

i downloaded right from adobe.com,mcafee said site was ok

I'd go for Foxit or Nitro much safer. Get them from the makers site.

Foxit tried to install Search Protect or similar last time

And to opt out was hidden in the advanced install. Until they return from the dark side I can't recommend Foxit.
