MY new Panasonic digital camera has alarming warnings
about handling and storing, the camera may explode catch fire, electronic magnetic fields are all cameras like this? has anyone experienced this isuue, this is alarming and risky, a camera can explode on your face or hands or while you are away from home.

I changed from film camera and never had warings like this, only not to leave it in water near, or dropped or shake , THAT THE WARNING IT MAY NOT WORK, BREAK DOWN. this is so much better than exploding , fire etc.
help!!!

Panasonic has had some incidents of foreign low cost batteries catching fire that they now check for battery source.
New Panasonic cameras will require the use of a Panasonic Brand battery.
A generic battery will not work.

It was a pool toy. The surface was about 1/3 covered in product warnings about drowning, not a life preserver, etc.
