Warner Bros Blu Rays on 1600

by 4127051578 / August 5, 2010 11:07 AM PDT

I have tried to Reset my 1600 as well as turning off the BD Live option but again it has not helped. It appears to be happening only to movies that are from Warner Bros. So I want to know when there will be a new firmware upgrade as this is not acceptable as you have to check if it is a Warner Bros movie to see if you can watch it. I am seeing so many posted items pertaining to this, I would hope by now Samsung is working on a firmware fix.

Try 1-800-SAMSUNG to get the word in there as well.

Everyone wishes they would stop changing the BD titles and breaking things but for the time being it looks like the BD studios will keep changing and the BD player makers will have to chase down what broke.

4127051578,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue.

I'd recommend going to the support site on Samsung.com and downloading the previous version of the software that is available. By reverting the firmware back to that version, you should be able to once again play Warner Brothers titles.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

I did DOWNGRADE my firmware from 2.09 to 2.08 and all Warner Bros Blu Rays work with no problems. So what do I do when 2.10 comes out???

Should I upgrade the firmware or not?

Thanks for the help but again, I don't know what to do when 2.10 comes out.

4127051578,

It should be ready when the next version comes out. If you're skeptical, wait and see if people post issues a few days after it's released.
