How do I get rid of the unrequested products on my "profile want list" installed by this site.

I did not expect force fed commercialism on a user based forum.

Am I wrong?

I just checked your profile and it's saying that there or no products on your "Want It" or "Got It" lists. Check again and see if it's still there. Cnet doesn't add anything to your profile, so I'm guessing either you checked the wrong profile or the system glitched and crossed you over with someone else. (It has been crossing over on the e-mail member function off and on lately, so it's entirely possible it's doing other things at random as well. If that's the case I'd make a note in the Forum Feedback forum so the techs look into it.)

In reply to: Interesting...

it's all gone. I did go to my profile, not some other. There were four items listed to check out and add to my ''want list''. A virtual mystery.

Maybe someone else noticed my post.

Thanks for info.

While it's not a firm rule, you may want to place this in the Forum Feedback forum.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
