wanted a Macro that removes all returns frrom text file

May 7, 2007 11:55PM PDT

Has anybody got a macro to quicky remove all single line returns from a converted Notepad /Wordpad file to a nice format ...It should also check for double retturns and not remove those as they the end of a paragrah

I'm still using Word 97 and Windows 98

Also I need a good PDF to Word converter that gives a good looking after conversion and will allow you to convert the whole document during the trial period .... even if you have to do 5 pages at a time...

I find it rediculous to be able to convert ONLY the first 5 pages of a 60 page document and nothing else during their 15 day trial period.

i did find a good Program that converts a PDF to text format. but it makes 100 files for a 100 page document.

So maybe a second macro might be needed to tell Word to bring in all the text files you select to your document

Any ideas

Odd. "rediculous"

This is common in demos. If I didn't put such restrictions in demos then I would never get a sale. And without a sale I would rather not write such software in the first place.

Your request for software that does what you want without payment seems a little odd to me. Let's turn this around. What will you do in return for free software?

Can be done with Edit>Replace, in Word. Did you try that (replace this special character with nothing).
