You should be able to download the software for your camera

from the Canon website. If that's a problem, a Canon dealer might be willing to copy the software for you. I was able to take that route once when I was on vacation.

???Mini Disk Format..

I can't understand your situation..
It seems you have taken DV-footage and only kept the Mini Disk Files leaveing the actual Digital Camera behind..
..
Thinking you could access these FILES REMOTELY..from a differant Country..
..
First OFF..PalmCorder's use DV Files..with-out a Conversion you would sit waiting like one week to get your Complete FILE transmitted over the internet..
..I have waited 30-minutes to get 3-minutes over a Dial-Up Connection..of WMV..poor quality compared to DV.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
