Resolved Question

Wanna buy new cellphone. NEED TONS OF ADVICE!!

May 3, 2014 6:01AM PDT

I want to get a new smartphone next weekend and im soo confused that i need help!!
Here's some things i need to be thinking, before i buy ---
1 - Big screen (5"or more), and a great battery(3000mah or more)
2 - Price under $600
3 - Waterproof and/or has a waterproof case that i can buy extra.
4 - Looks great.
5 - Good OS and other stuff.
6 - No contract, im with starighttalk and contractless..Love it!!

I shortlisted some, but someone is expensive, some has bad reviews, some is not launched etc...
Sony experia Z2 (little out of budget), LG G flex (no waterproof case available) , Note 3 (little too common and less battery life than LG), Oppo Find 7 (launches in 2 months)....any other suggestions????

Remember that no phone or case is truly waterproof, only water resistant to a specified depth for a specified length of time.

i guess i should have mentioned that in my question..by waterproof, i mean if i use it a lil bit in rain or so, that there is no risk to the device ......BTW the experia Z2 is waterproof to 5 feet

Since it's only good to 5 feet then that means point a hose

Let's see, the pressure at 5 feet is about 2.28 PSI and my hose is about 40. So it's possible to exceed the 5 foot pressure mark in the laundry machine or running water over it in a sink.

Does not seem to tell me it's going to be damage proof at all.

The Samsung Galaxy S5. It is designed as water resistant without an additional case. I use an Insipio Lifeproof case for my S4 which is water/shock/dust resistant.

Hi there,

If you are still on the hunt for your phone, I guess Samsung Galaxy S5 will offer you the solution. Good Price, Screens are big like you need and great look too.
Well regarding water proof, I really donn think any guarantees hold. Blush
