Hello is there any way to back factory made state in my Zre 71 ?
As hotsync not working and I try my best but failed Sad
So I wana get back factory made state may be it solves my problem.

When I copy ".wma" format audio file it makes a error :

"ERROR: The following file(s) could not be installed to the SecureDigital (SD) Card because there is no application on your handheld to open these files.
If you have recently installed such an application, please run that application and then perform a HotSync operation.
1.Nandini.wma
Install To Card synchronization failed
Conduit Error: Unknown error. (1000)"

May be from that time hotsync has been disabled.
What is the solution ? Please Inform me in a hurry. I am in trouble Sad

Have some friend try it on their machine.

Or obtain the SERIAL PORT sync cable since it's rare to kill both the USB and Serial Port on the Z71

Palm doesn't use ActiveSync.

Very odd thing to do in my opinion and as such you may upset the host machine's setup.

Use what comes with the Palm (HotSync application) and consider the Z71 USB port may have a defect. The serial port cable could "save" you from replacing the PDA.
