Wall wart carger fro RCA Lyra 106H

I was wondering IF I could use my charger that came with my Polaroid digital camera to charge my RCA Lyra. The Lyra says to charge it via a USB 2 port on computer. There are times when I have no access to a PC and need to charge the MP3 player. Both the player and the camera have 3.7 volt batteries. Does anyone know if this would work and if I am taking a risk of ruining the MP3 player, as the instructions state not to charge it with anything other than the USB port.

Seems like the output from the USB and the wall wart would be the same......any ideas?
