Scott Walker shocks Republicans with dropout call to gang up on Donald Trump

In a shock announcement that called for a “positive, conservative alternative” to Donald Trump, Wisconsin governor Scott Walker announced on Monday that he was suspending his presidential campaign – once a leading bid for Republicans to recapture the White House.

IF was a Walker supporter I would be really hard pressed to support the Donald as my second choice.

He was losing supporters right and left

That's why he is dropping out.

sour grapes

And also a denial on his part to support the party nominee if it happens to be Trump. Good riddance.

RE: sour grapes

sour grapes AND Trump....synonymous

Donald "If i don't win the nomination I'll run as a third party candidate" Trump.

So....Trump was the one who raised his hand

and said he couldn't promise to support the nominee........and got criticized for it......but you give Walker a pass for now doing the same thing but he was too much of a coward to raise his hand that night?

RE: he couldn't promise to support the nominee

Walker hasn't said THAT..and HE DID promise to support "the nominee"...

Didn't HE sign the same paper that Trump did?

Who IS "the nominee"?...Has Walker not supported them?

Oh Wait!!!!...they don't have "a nominee" yet.

He said

"I encourage other Republican presidential candidates to do the same so that voters can focus on the limited number of candidates who can offer a positive, conservative alternative to the current front-runner."

Walker said they should find another "front-runner"...NOT that he won't support Trump IF he gets the nomination.

People that are running against Trump ALSO don't think Trump should be "front-runner"...are THEY violating THEIR "promise"?

He's already stated his intent

twice and they may come in conflict. We will see eventually.
