Question

Wacom Intuos Pen tablet or Wacom One small Tablet?

Jun 17, 2014 11:06PM PDT

Hi, this is my first tablet buy and am confused between the two. I'm an architect and have a lot of photoshop and illustrator usage. So which one of them is superior and also value for money?
Thank you.

Clarification Request
Which Wacom have you used before?

Sometimes you encounter folk that think these are great things and their high expectations are dashed. Both are too similar for me to guess what your expectations are and to give a nod to one or the other.

Which drawing device are you using now so I know you know it's imperfect or not. That is, some are upset about the small lag on input. Others scribble too fast and it skips. Just like an artist you learn to work with your tools.

Haven't used either.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I haven't used either of them (played around for a while with my friend's wacom one but not serious work). Currently i use the app 53 on the ipad for drawing, but need to invest on a tablet for precise editing on photoshop, hence the confusion.
The problem is i don't mind spending on intuos one but am confused if whether i need to start from wacom one which is the basic or jump right into the higher model.

precise editing is the kiss of death here.

I find all but the high end models to jiggle a little at times. That is, for a paintbrush or art it's all alright but for "precise editing" I'm back to a mouse, crosshairs and zooming in to the pixel level.
