W760a GPS Maps

by bsmarks / January 15, 2009 12:06 AM PST

I'm going to buy a phone and I'm looking for one that has a GPS. I was looking at sony ericsson's W760a from AT&T. My problem is that I do not want to get a data plan and from what I can see I would need to connected to the internet every time I wanted to use the GPS. Is there a way to download maps to the phone and store is locally? I would prefer to get a memory stick and upload all the maps on to it (similar to how a standalone GPS).
Thank you.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
