Question

W7 to W10 upgrade failures

I downloaded the W7 to W10 upgrade from the MS site to a flash drive and tried to upgrade my W7 64bit home pc. Two hours after starting, the upgrade stopped with the progress clock showing 47% complete. I waited overnight and it did not progress any further. Luckily, when I shut it down it restored my W7 system. Any one else have this issue? I checked the MS W10 site and couldn't find a solution. Nervous about trying again. Recommendations?

(NT) Have you checked for Windows 10 compatibility?

Answer
I have one machine at the office that will do that.

But, and this is very important the Upgrade to 10 was NEVER OFFERED on it since it's not a model that is compatible.
