Please tell us how you know you have this for starters. Also please follow the note that is above the box that you typed your subject into which is this.

Note: If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem.

Also, you've got 2 different things typed ''w32gypsy'' and ''w32sygyp.A@mm''. I am finding absolutely nothing on either of them. We need the exact name please.

http://norton.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.sygyp.a@mm.html is the symantec link.... It uses both names for it gypsy is the short I think. I cant make sense of the directions it says to go by and in the past i have always been able to use a removal tool. I cant virus scan my computer becuase I cant open anything and I cant visit most parts of any security websites.

a removal tool available yet, and whether or not they will make one or not eventually will probably depend on the number of people infected. The page says it comes from file sharing which is no surprise. I don't have any way of telling you an easier way to get rid of it either than what is on the Symantec page. Without a tool available there is NO EASY way. Do you have someone where you live that can help you with this?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
