VPN Troubleshoot help

May 24, 2005 4:38AM PDT

I use DLink 624 with the update firmware 2.50 version. I have a cisco vpn that I use for some application. Whenever I log into the vpn I am not able to get any Internet connection neither the application that should run through the vpn. I have enable vpn passthrough on the DLink, UPnP enable both on PC and router, I have even allow DMZ for the PC runing the VPN but could not have Internet connection. Need help to resolve this puzzle. Thanks all
Dre

When you are on the VPN...

You can't jump out of the VPN and onto the internet. That would not be secure. The "internet" would be through the VPN and supplied by the network on the other side.

Hope this helps,

Bob

Through the VPN I suppose to get to the corporate server but I am not able to launch any of the application, I just get page cannot be displayed. Everything works fine when I removed the router.

I don't use any belkins so I can't comment.

As to the Linksys, some only allow one VPN connection at a time. Their VPN router allows more.
