Question

VPN and time zones

Sep 14, 2015 6:43AM PDT

Hi everyone,

I'm using a uk vpn so I can access my client's VPN abroad from time to time (all tried and tested in the UK) I'm about to test it out for real abroad but I'm unsure about whether the time zone difference will cause me any issues.

Does the time stamps and time zone (sorry for the un-technical term) get picked up from the VPN you are connecting to or would it get picked up by the computer which I imagine may cause me issues. I cant change the time on the computer myself as I don't have admin rights (it was provided by the company). I don't really want to take it all abroad with me only to find it causes me issues and I cant work anyway.
Thanks guys

Madge
