Question

VPN and network drives

Aug 5, 2018 3:23AM PDT

Hi. I have connected to a VPN and cannot see the remote network drives. The remote network is using IPs in range of 192.168.0.x but my IP from VPN is 192.168.10.2.
Could that be the problem? I tried changing manually the IP from the IPv4 tab (i'm on windows 10) to 192.168.0.202 for example but couldn't reconnect to the VPN with the new IP.

That seems a question for the support desk of the VPN company.

Time to talk to the VPN provider.

Your IP address from the VPN should be

assigned by that VPN to avoid conflict. The VPN should only affect you when you surf the internet. You have to be connected to the internet through your local router to get to your VPN. What do you mean by remote network drives? Where are the drives? My work uses a VPN called Juno Pulse to login to get through their firewall. Once I login i have the same access to all servers as if I was logging in at my desk. Where are these remote drives?
