"the very people who desperately need it to stay in their homes, to buy food, to take care of the gas, to fill up their tank, to be able to go out and buy a toaster, to employ people.? "

Who can you hire with toaster money???

What an embarrassment!!
Hope Joe has "under the bus" coverage on his insurance !!

No matter how much lipstick he puts on that toaster...
by EdHannigan / September 18, 2008 1:40 AM PDT

it's still a just a toaster.

I am disturbed by their continued lying though:

"Our tax plan would take that tax cut of another $130 billion that John [McCain] wants to give to people making over $250,000 next year..."

What he's really talking about is stealing from people who make a certain amount and giving it to people who make less.Classic socialism. I don't make anywhere near $250,000 a year, but I have benefited from the Bush tax cuts, which he wants to end.

It's very unlikely that I will gain a penny from the phantom tax "cuts" that Obama/Biden are proposing. I'm still waiting for my middle class tax cut that Clinton promised.

Sounds like everyone is out of touch.

Is it too late to start over and get new candidates ?

Ask any REAL economist....
by EdHannigan / September 18, 2008 5:11 AM PDT

if the fundamentals of the economy are strong.

Obama repeating that over and over just shows how truly ignorant he is.

ummm, it was McCain who said it...
by grimgraphix / September 18, 2008 5:13 AM PDT

... right before he tried to modify his statement hours later.

I'm not too thrilled by either of them. Like I said... I call a Do Over !

Great Lizards of Satan!!

I can't believe anyone can be.... oh never mind.

My point was that Obama keeps hammering McCain for saying the fundamentals are strong.

They ARE!!! Ask an economist.

Obama doesn't know what he's talking about.

Get it now?

So a trillion dollar loan by the fed...
by grimgraphix / September 18, 2008 5:32 AM PDT

... is an indicator of strong economic fundamentals?

You know... I don't think you really understand what a "free market economy" really means, because a healthy free market economy should not have to be propped up by government loans.

JMHO and I do admit I am not an economist.

Here's a clue...
by EdHannigan / September 18, 2008 5:33 AM PDT

if Obama is elected you aren't getting a toaster oven. You aren't getting a toaster. You are getting a bigger tax bill.

At best.

At worst...I don't want to find out.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
