Vonage - Poor Customer Support

Jul 24, 2007 5:55AM PDT

Vonage is obviously struggling. So what are they doing now? They make it almost impossible to cancel the service.

I called Vonage this April to cancel the service. At the time, they said, "no problem, you will receive a confirmation email". Well, that email never arrived and they have continued to charge my credit card. When I called on July 23, I talked to a customer service person. But when she found out I was calling to cancel, she put me on hold forever, and then gave me another number to call. I dialed the new number and the folks acted like they couldn't hear me. I switched phones and they continued to do this. They are just stealing from people.

I finally found a mailing address in the "terms of service"; and will send a certified letter with return receipt.

This company will eventually close it's doors. But they should be put out of business - NOW.

Thanks for letting me vent.

John
