The only solution to low volume is to shut out surrounding noise more, which is a bad idea for your use.
There are Line -> Cassette converters, possible retrifits to give you line in on most head units, etc.
It's also generally a bad idea for drivers to wear earphones - the situation is a little different to listening to a car stereo since earphone listening takes attention slightly more away from the surrounding environment in comparison to reasonable-volume listening with in-car entertainment.
Hey, everyone. Im new at this mp3 stuff and could use some help... I just got a new cell phone with mp3 player, It is a Motorola KRZR, with 1 gig card. Im using windows media player 11. After I got all my somgs synced up, it works ok, but there is almost no volume. I am a truck driver, and I can BARELY hear at full volume with the cheap headphones while driving. In quiet surroundings it is fairly ok .
Yes, the volume is all the way up on the phone. I erased the whole thing and tried it again with any volume variations I could think of, still the same.
Even without the headphones just playing thru the phones speaker, it's bad.
Suggestions, advice even criticizms are welcome at this point.........
