VoIP with fax capability.

I live in a major city- Miami. I use the fax a lot. My service cost is $45.50 unlimited local and extended local area service. The cost includes all taxes and fees.
Would I be able to get faxing capability as well as the same services or more from a VoIP? Or would I have to purchase a dedicated phone line for faxes as well as paying for the VoIP service?
