Voice recording on Pocket Pc

May 29, 2005 8:15AM PDT

I want to be able to use my pocket pc to record long speaches and stream/record the audio directly to a destination on any of my local network drives. Does such an application exist?

Currently my only other option is using a 1 Gig SD card, or putting one of the networked computers online with Skype and make an internet call from my pocket pc to the other computer on the network (through the www), and then recording the "conversation" to hard drive. This works, but its subject to varying audio quality, audio smears, or possible audio drop-outs.

thanks in advance!

thanks Bob. That's a good program. I ended up clearing some space on my SD card (I couldn't find anything that could save onto a networked drive), and using NoteM to record mp3's. I'll just upload, as you said, to the network later on, which isn't so bad. Thanks again for the link!
