Question

VLC playback help.

Hi everyone. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question, if it's not, please forgive me.

I tend to download and watch certain Japanese shows in 1080, and the way that I prefer to watch it, is by taking off the fit window to screen, and zooming the frame to half. It honestly is the best way that I prefer to watch the show. The screen is not to big or small. The quality is great.

I have certain shows in 720, and when I do the same thing, the screen in zooms to is smaller than the ones from 1080. Now of course, I know it's because the quality and size of the videos are different, but I wanted to know if there was anyway of working the system to make the 720 videos the same size of the 1080 ones when I zoom to half? I tried messing with the aspect rations with the 720 ones, and the screen does change around, but it never gets to the way I actually like it. If anyone knows a trick, and wouldn't mind helping a fellow out. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!
