VIZIO

My VIZIO smart tv is about 3 years old. So far it is known to turn itself on/off and the picture has started freezing no matter if the input is Netflix or antenna. My older Sanyo has none of those issues.

Get repair estimates now.

What I usually hear is that it only gets worse and if not fixed can fry other boards in the set. No user serviceable items inside so get estimates.

Visio screen

In reply to: VIZIO

Occasionally my 60” Visio changes size. When this occurs the screen is too large and I have difficulty getting it to return to the correct size, which for me is panoramic.

I have searched the internet to find a fix with no luck. Yes everyone suggests going to wide screen mode and adjust from there. However the only way to get to panoramic is to unplug the cane box. Only then can you get the panoramic option.

Again unplug the power from the bag of the cable box, turn on t.v. Go to settings, wide, then you should see the panoramic option. Select panoramic, then you should be all set. Plug in cable box and enjoy.

To those who suggested changing ratio, you must go into further detail. Most of us will attemp to troubleshoot with cable box connected and not eliminate the HD full ratio.

Hopefully this helps someone.
