I currently have , on its way to my home a vizio 40" (link here to tv) http://www.walmart.com/ip/VIZIO-M401i-A3-40-1080p-120Hz-Razor-LED-2.02-ultra-slim-Smart-HDTV/23991016 . So last night i was surfing the web looking at information for this tv and trying to confirm what I heard on a youtube video about 3d glass's. Thats when i came upon THIS http://www.walmart.com/ip/VIZIO-E420d-A0-42-1080p-120Hz-Class-3.32-ultra-slim-LED-3D-Smart-HDTV/22659938
So This is what i plan on doing with this new tv. it will be in a bedroom, relatively small is 11X11(if i measured correctly) Anyways theres only one light in the room and usually when i watch movies its dark in the room anyways so light isnt a problem. I will use this with a new sony blu ray player that is 3d capable too, reason i bought that was it came with an HDMI cable and was cheaper then a non 3d. The home i live in doesnt have cable or satellite tv at all and wont while im living there, but may if i move. i plan on using this tv for MLB and the Center Ice package to watch Hockey. I may end up get a ps3 or xbox in the future but thats unlikly but you never know. Also will be watching bluray movies if thats not clear.
Whats the advantages and disadvantages of both of these tv's? Im going mad wondering why i didnt get teh 3d one, so any help would be great i can bring it back to walmart and get the 3d one but all i see with the 3d tv is an upside to ti and no downside
