Vizio sv320xvt Use for PC Monitor

I am looking at the Vizio sv320xvt for use as a PC monitor and of couse a TV. I was wondering what the quality is for the use as a PC monitor. For example, is there lag when displaying movies, playing games, general PC usage? I would be using the DVI or the VGA port on the TV from my video card. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to replace my 19" monitor that just died ASAP.

Sincerely,
Michael

LG W2353v Vizio sv32xvt Samsung 32 Monitors

In reply to: Vizio sv320xvt Use for PC Monitor

I'm currently using an LG W2353v 23" 1080p and a Vizio sv320xvt 32" 1080p as computer monitors.

I've had the LG for a few months now
Vizio installed 2 days ago.

So far I'm very pleased with the LG, the Vizio's color could be a little better,(compared to my Samsung 32" 720p)
Samsung used mainly as TV,
Vizio does double duty TV/Monitor,
LG monitor

Overall any of these 3 would be great monitors (ofcouse you would give up some resolution(computer) on the Samsung since it's 720p, not resolution loss is not noticeable on HD programming unless it's bluray, but the color is better on the Samsung

Assuming you sit 6-8 feet away it will be fine as a monitor

If you sit closer than that you will likely be disappointed by the resolution. TV's don't have the tight dot pitch that a real monitor.
