Answer
Disney WOW calibrated and RGB tuned
Apr 30, 2014 5:32AM PDT

After much MUCH struggle getting the perfect settings, having blacks look true, White looks true (not too blue or reddish toned) skin tones natural in both light and dark settings (as well as 'sunny' scenery's)
I finally got a picture i can enjoy for blurays, low quality films, netflix, hulu, amazon and 720p downloaded movies/shows.<div>
I used Disney's WOW settings (fantaaaastic bluray for calibrating. For people who are not savvy in this field and for pros, this is the best hands down) and looked up countless forums on AVSforum.com (super useful website) as well as reviews on calibration settings for this Vizio E550i-B2 television. these are the settings i found useful

Picture Mode: Calibrated (not sure if it makes a difference having the same setting numbers on Computer or Dark etc.)

Backlight: 88
Brightness: 56
Contrast: 77
Color: 54
Tint: 0
Sharpness: 40

Color Temperature

RED GAIN: 510
GREEN GAIN: 510
BLUE GAIN: 510

RED OFFSET: 475
GREEN OFFSET: 470
BLUE OFSET: 465

<div>*NOTE* This setting doesnt matter if you have the same numbers on normal, computer, cool etc. If you have the same numbers on Normal and Cool they are the exact same thing. I tested it out by putting the same RGB settings on both and what i messed with most was the offsets. If you think there's too much

or not enough of tint color (blue, red, green) i suggest you tinker with these settings. As these were the one's that drove me to insanity everytime i watched a show (too much red in peoples faces making them look clayish and fuzzy)
</div>
My suggestion: Put in a movie that you thought had too much/too little or missing colors (example: the sky wasn't blue enough in Disney's Up) . Go to a scene and then Pause it.
Have two settings in Color Temperature (cool and normal) with the EXACT same settings and then on ONE of them change the offset of ONE color to about 10-20 digits higher (the color you think it's lacking or needs fixing: Red, Green, Blue)
then switch back and fourth between Cool and Normal and see the difference of tint. fiddle with this until you get what you like. do this while your movie is paused in multiple scenes (dark scenes and light scenes, scenes with lots of sun or a sun setting.)

Advanced Settings:

Auto Brightness Control: Off
Black Detail: Low
Active LED Zones: On (didn't like this setting at first but it DOES help with color a lot, i love it now)
Reduce Signal noise: off
Reduce Block noise: off
Film mode: Auto

Hope this helps! Goodluck to all of you, hope you find the perfect settings.

Quick question my gain top off at 100. Is your post correct in listing the gains in the 500's?

Hello Data_Rock,

Thank you for your calibration settings. I brought Vizio few days back and totally messed up with the calibration. All the water look black and white look like pink.

I am gonna try your settings but couldn't get the RGB settings. How to get there. I am seeing only color temperature. Have to choose between Normal and Cool?

How to change these offset settings.
RED GAIN: 510
GREEN GAIN: 510
BLUE GAIN: 510

RED OFFSET: 475
GREEN OFFSET: 470
BLUE OFSET: 465

Thanks so much for the settings... I just bought the tv and I am struggling to get it right.. I had a samsung 46" and am doing my best to come close to that picture... I am puzzled by one thing however, in my color tuner the Gain and offset only go up to 100 and the numbers you suggest are in the 4 and 5 hundreds. I am puzzled by this and i am wondering if I am looking in the right spot.. Please advise...
