Looking for options? Small claim court perhaps, if you can prove they were stringing you along. But for most folks, simply replacing with another brand makes the most sense if your time is valuable. This is partially why I avoid Vizio.
Have you also asked around AVS forum to see what others have reported over there?
Have purchased two 47-inch Vizio LED TV's in the last year and one half, both at Walmart. First was purchased was also 3D, July 1, 2012. Second one two months later. Had problems right away with it losing picture, but not sound. After going back and forth with techs for Vizio they agreed to replaced. Did not have the same problem again with it but only one of the two HDMI connections on set works. For about the last year periodically I again would lose picture but not sound and this time techs said it had to be cable boxes. Have had two reconditioned DVR boxes from Brighthouse replaced now with a new one, and still happens. I have checked on other forums and many, many others have had the same problems, and from what people say a regulator has gone bad, many long before warranty is up but techs string you on until warrant is no longer good. On this site how have others fared with Vizio. Paid a lot of money for both sets and do not have money to replace.
