Visual land v-motion pro (invalid format file!) ?

I purchased a new v-motion pro 3-1 combo,able to download audio files but not video files. I downloaded 2 conversion softwares(freemake.com and foxvideo)but neither has worked for me on video.
Heres what I've tried:
1)dragged youtube link to freemake
2)converted to avi
3)saved to my computer
4)dragged from my computer to windows media player sync
5)connected mp3 player with usb
5)once sync complete,opened videos file in mp3 but invalid file format occurs.

I've tried reduces resolution but still not working.Any clues what I may be doing wrong?

Youtube breaks these things all the time.

Youtube has some agreement that you agreed not to download. To help those that don't agree they break downloaders all the time.

Hope you didn't pay for disappointment.
