by xin / September 18, 2009 4:20 AM PDT

heei Bob Profitt, did closing your accusations of pirated software provide any proof?
Read your posts here;forum-threads

You can?t simply shut the door to the scathing attacks you Bob & Jimmy Greystone launched on me for software piracy

What do you mean by ?Try again but tell EXACTLY what versions are installed??
Did you ask for version before you and Jimmy Greystone accused me of piracy?

You are required by antipiracy law to provide a web page to post the email Microsoft sent me to download their Evaluation software for the general public to see and judge your piracy case
Where is that web page?
I also requested you to search MS website for Evaluation Servers. Where?s result?

Jimmy Greystone WARNED that i should wipe out the pirated server immediately! But how can his order be carried out without providing exhibit of the offensive item for public judgment?
By the same WARNING, you are required to provide a web page within 24hrs from time of this post where i can post Microsoft email of the pirated software you accused.

Your failure to do so within 24hrs from this time means you hereby authorize me to proceed with the next course of action

Remarks and questions.

1. Why don't you copy that email here in a post?

2. I find it hard to believe that Microsoft positions Windows Server 2008 as a product for the 'general public'.

3. And I find it still harder to believe that Microsoft still has evaluation copies of Windows Server 2003 to download.

Of course, publishing that mail here will certainly help to convince me about #2 and #3.

4. I did the google you suggested. The result = Your search - "evaluation servers" - did not match any documents. What were you trying to tell me?

5. So you downloaded an evaluation copy of Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2003 and found both of them didn't support your Intel High Definition 7.1 sound. Didn't that mysterious email that you failed to publish until now tell you how to handle questions about the downloaded software? Anyway, it seems enough to call your evaluation rather negative. Well, that's what evaluation copies are for, to find out if you can use the software.

6. Why did you post your issue with this OS (Windows Server) on a forum about another OS (Windows Vista)? That (and the contents, of course) really didn't help to give Jimmy and Bob the impression that you are a serious IT professional evaluating a seriously professional OS, that's certainly not meant for the general public.

Post on topic and without the ire please.

At no point did I talk about piracy. Since this post is inaccurate and looks to be headed south, it's closed.
