Vista won't update

Jul 23, 2010 12:34AM PDT

Vista will not update. Message popping up saying that Windows cant check for updates. Tried to do it manually, but still wont work. When I try to check for new updates it brings up an error message with Code 8007277B. Last time it successfully updated was June 18. I disabled my firewall but still no change. What would be the best route to take from here? Is there a way to find all the updates since June 18 and install them manually? Your help would be appreciated!

Depends on which update.

If it's that .NET update we discussed that in depth. The root cause was found too.

Bad Update?
Jul 23, 2010 3:12AM PDT

So you are saying that my problem could possibly be a bad update that I received?

Sorry no.

The .NET update failure was discussed along with the root cause. It's an interesting problem.

But back to your machine. Until you find which update failed there's little to discuss.
