Vista Ultimate and Video issues

Feb 7, 2007 10:22AM PST

Greetings,

I am seeking some information on problems playing videos in Vista Ultimate. DVD's seem to play fine. Itunes TV shows and movies are choppy and audio is not synched with video (I am aware of the issues with Itunes and Vista but this does not seem to be an issue listed on the Apple site.) As close as I can figure, Quicktime doesn't seem to work well with Vista yet. Avi's seem to work fine. I have also seen the same issues with different CPUs when using set top boxes with live tv. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently using Vista Ultimate on a Sony Vaio, 3.2HT pentium chip, X300 Radeon Video Card, 2 gigs of memory as well as a one gig ready boost flash drive. All drivers are as up to date as I can find for Vista. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
