vista to win7,What email to use for win7 hp? vmars

I believe i put this post out there earlier today, but can't find now (and don't yet have email):
I just upgraded (i hope) from vista to win7 home prem.
But can't find an email pgm here.
Please, what are my email options?

Plenty. Go to a site like Download.com and look at the different email clients available.

My preference would be for Mozilla Thunderbird, but try a bunch of them and keep the one you like best. Just be wary of any from Microsoft for security reasons.

As I understand, Windows 7 does NOT contain any email program. You will need to download/install a program like Microsoft's "Windows Live Mail" (which replaced Outlook Express that use to be contained in Windows).

"Windows Live Mail" can be downloaded here:

Mozolla's "Thunderbird" here:
http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/

You might also be interested in portable applications to put on a USB flash drive, including email programs like Thunderbird. Its available here:
http://portableapps.com/

There are dozens more available, just do a Google.
