vista sp1 made my scroll sections on my touch pad stop work

May 15, 2008 12:12AM PDT

hi all i have recently gotten an update for windows sp1 and after the installation was complete and the system restar the scroll sections on the touchpad stop working and dispite my best efforts nothing happened i went into the control panel checked the mouse settings and everything says working properly no errors and because of my past experience an a bit sceptical about rolling back to last working configeration it has been suggested yo just buy an external mouse but dont think thats necessary because the rest of the mouse pad is working just fine any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Sorry, I can't find it.

What's it? The make, model of the stuff, parts that don't work. Maybe this is a laptop or some desktop with that external mousepad. Maybe you are running Vista on a Mac. I read your post 3 times and can't find out what hardware driver may have an update.

Sorry that I didn't get this one. I was hoping for a single rollback rather than the entire system. But what works is hard to complain about.
