Vista slow/freeze problem fixed

Feb 8, 2007 1:30AM PST

I knew from this board and others that many people are experiencing problems of slow start/shut down, screen freezes etc. I had the same issue a few days ago with my 2x 2.8GH, 2g ram supermicro system from both upgrade and clean installation of ultimate. A new ATI x1650 did not reslove the issue. Last night, I took out all the cards from the system, leaving only a video card and it worked fine. Then I sticked them in again one by one and finally I found that it was one linksys wireless receiving card that caused the problem. Now vista are working just as smooth as XP on my system. Guys, once it works, you will like it. I post this to see if it can be helpful to those who still have the problem.
