Question

vista replicates my doc files exponentially

Sep 15, 2012 10:25PM PDT

Any document that I create remains in multiple quantaties. My computer freezes all the time. Are these conditions related, i ask myself? Alas, my friends, I don't even know how to pose the right question.

I'm not totally t challenged technologically, but have no sophisticated PC language or understanding., I'm so busy seven days a week, I don't have necessary time to get rid of Vista (Home Premium).

I'm constantly rebooting, or using System Restore. And,
recently, if I attempt to send an email with an attachment, I have to reboot before it leaves the Outbox and gets mailed.

It seems that something is very wrong with your PC.

Now it's your choice to continue the way it is now or to go back to factory conditions (using your recovery media) and start all over. If it didn't do this when the PC was new, it won't do it when you restore to factory conditions either, because everything is the exactly the same as it was then.

Don't forget to invest some time to make 2 good backups before deleting everything on your PC.

Clarification re multiple copies of my docs.
Sep 16, 2012 4:23AM PDT

Could we consider (separately) the multiple copies of personally created documents
which come up during a search, and its possible impact on my system? I've had this problem since I bought my HPcomputer at Best Buy, which offered Vista at the time I quickly needed a PC? (XP was not an option.) If this
replication of files is also experienced by others, perhaps I can start there.

Many thanks for any help,
