Vista wouldn't do it since the speed test failed. I've tried a few PC-Card to memory cards (SD, CF) but nothing's fast enough. Looks like a dead end.
So I got a 4GB READYBOOST USB STICK and the payoff was zero since my machine had 1GB RAM. From the articles they were right it might pay off with machines with less than 1GB RAM.

Apologies if this info is available elsewhere. I would like to install a flash card in the card reader of my Dell Inspiron 640m, not a USB slot, to utilise ready boost. I have read most of the pros and cons of ready boost but would like to try it anyway. Many thanks if someone can suggest suitable cards. I believe only ExpressCard/34 (34 mm) ExpressCard/54 (54 mm), 1.5 V and 3.3 V. and system connector size of 26 pins are supported.
